Daytona Beach, FL – The LPGA tour, which began in 2012 to plan the list of events, includes five new events.
As previously announced, the tour opens the season from February 9 to 12 in Australia with its first stop. The events will take place in Thailand and Singapore ahead of the first state event in Arizona, March 15-18, with the LPGA Founders Cup.
The tour will travel to California for two tournaments, the second being the first largest of the year, the Kraft Nabisco Championship.

In the first week of May, the tour will have a two-day event in Brazil. The next three events will take place in New York and New Jersey, including the second largest of the year, the Wegmans LPGA Championship.

The following week is the last specialty of the MyWegmansConnect season, the British Women’s Open at Royal Liverpool. The tour returns to the United States next week for the Navistar LPGA Classic, which is the last full-field event in the United States.
In October, the tour returns to Asia for four consecutive weeks. The tour will move to Mexico for the Lorena Ochoa event before the end of the season on November 15 and 18, with the second selection of CME group beginners.
At the start of the tour, LPGA Commissioner Michael Whan also announced that LPGA had renewed eight of the nine tournament contracts that ended in 2011 and ten of the eleven marketing associations that also required new contracts.
