BROOKLYN, NY January 7, 2019, / PRNewswire / – Recruitment and training continues for the long-awaited expansion of Wegmans Food Markets in New York at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. The new store is located on Flushing Avenue on Admirals Row and is slated to open in the fall of this year. Wegmans plans to employ approximately 500 people at its Brooklyn store, including 150 full-time employees. Most employees are hired on site.

Full-time positions include everything from basic management to customer service, nightly supermarkets and the role of regular chefs and chefs. Part-time positions are also advertised, which are selected for bakeries and culinary events. Adjustment for all other halftime positions starts later.
